How do I register for a seminar?
• Go to ipokrates.info/seminars and select the seminar of your choice. Here you can find the button for registration.
• Click on "Registration" and you will be redirected to an external website events.mcon-mannheim.de. Follow the steps in the registration form.
• The selection of the participant type (e.g. member, student etc.) affects the bookable services and prices. After the selection you will be redirected to the corresponding form for creating a new user account. If you already have an account from previous years, you can continue log in with your existing user account.
• Select your required offer (s) and confirm the booking for payment or free of charge.
• Please pay the participation fee by credit card or bank transfer.
• If your selected type of participation requires proof, please upload this after the booking process.
• After completing the registration you will receive an e-mail. Please check your SPAM folder if necessary.
What services are included in my participation fee?
Included in the participation fee are the participation in the event (scientific sessions, exhibition area), attendance badge, certificate of attendance and access to the online presentations.
Travel and accommodation has to be booked separately.
When is an invoice due?
If not otherwise specified, you have a payment term of 14 days. Payments by credit card are debited immediately.

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?
If you are unable to attend the seminar yourself, you have the option of transferring your registration to a colleague. Please send an e-mail to the participant management at email@example.com.
Do I have to register for an entire seminar if I only want to attend single lectures?
Please ask for separate tickets for single lectures at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I register as a participant on site at short notice?
No, on-site registration is not possible.
Where can I find my username / password?
You do not need a user name / password to register for a seminar. You can create a new user account in the registration process at the external webpage events.mcon-mannheim.de. In this event, click on the button "Registration" to start the booking process.
If you are already registered for a seminar, you will find your user name in the e-mail sent to you after completing the registration process. If you have forgotten your password, you can reassign it by clicking on "Forgot your password?“ at the external website events.mcon-mannheim.de.
How do I get my certificate of attendance?
You will receive your certificate of participation on site at the end of the event.
How can I acquire CME Points?
The seminars are CME accredited by the respective nationally competent institutions. After successful completion of a seminar you will receive a certificate of attendance, which will be mutually recognized by the respective institutions abroad for the acquisition of credits.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can find the applicable cancellation conditions in the GTC at the external website events.mcon-mannheim.de. Please note that depending on the time of cancellation, no refund of the participation fee is possible.
Can I take turns attending a seminar with my colleague?
No. The accesses are personalized and may not be used by other persons.
Can I also book a hotel room/rail trip/flight for a seminar via the registration?
A booking of hotel rooms, rail travel or flights is not included in the registration. You need to make these bookings yourself and separately.

Is participation as a speaker or chair free of charge?
All chairs and speakers are registered free of charge for the entire seminar.
I would like to attend a seminar with a limited number of participants - how do I proceed?
For seminars with a limited number of participants, early registration is recommended. On the seminar detail page you will be informed if there are still places available.
Please only register if you really want to participate in the seminar and, if necessary, cancel your registration again if you change your mind in order to free up your place.
Do I receive the presentations for a seminar?
If speakers provide us with documentation of their talks, you will find this in your account of this website.
You will receive your login data via email with a confirmed registration that has been paid in full.
Can I get an invitation letter for Visa purpose?
You will have the possibility to request an invitation letter by writing an email to email@example.com.
A customized invitation letter for visa purposes is only available for participants with a confirmed registration that has been paid in full. The letter is intended to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa but does not imply IPOKRaTES will provide financial support.
In case of a visa request rejection, IPOKRaTES will refund the full registration fee only upon receipt of the official refusal document from the Embassy.
We urge all participants to keep in mind that a visa application may take some time to be processed and should, therefore, be initiated early enough to ensure it is accepted before the seminar begins. We invite you to check with your local embassy regarding what sort of documents are necessary.
